Editorial Policy

How Car Workshop Finder writes its guides, keeps them up to date, and checks articles from businesses.

We publish two kinds of articles, and keep them clearly apart.

Our guides (independent)

Guides at /guides/ are written by our own team. Nobody pays to be mentioned in them, and businesses never see them before they're published.

  • Named authors. Every guide shows who wrote it and their background.
  • Real sources. Prices come from businesses we list and from quotes we gather; rules come from official sources such as the RTA, police and municipality.
  • Kept up to date. Each guide shows when it was last updated. Prices and rules change, and we review guides regularly.
  • Corrections. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

Business articles

Articles at /business-news/ are written by businesses listed on Car Workshop Finder. We check every article before publishing. We only accept articles about cars that are useful and honest. We may edit or remove them at any time.

Links in our guides point to sources we chose because they help readers. Links on business listings and business articles are marked so search engines know they aren't editorial endorsements.
