Accountant
Full time, Dubai, UAE
Own the day-to-day finances of Car Workshop Finder. You will keep our books accurate, manage subscription payments from businesses and keep us compliant with UAE VAT and corporate tax.
What you'll do
- Keep the books up to date: invoices, bills, bank and card reconciliations
- Reconcile subscription payments from Stripe each month
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and support corporate tax filings
- Prepare monthly management reports: revenue, costs and cash flow
- Manage payroll inputs and supplier payments
- Work with our external auditors and banks
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Hands-on experience with UAE VAT returns
- Confident with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero or Tally, and with Excel
- Accurate, discreet and able to work to deadlines
Nice to have
- ACCA, CMA or CPA (complete or in progress)
- Experience with UAE corporate tax registration and filing
- Experience with subscription or online businesses
- Experience with Stripe
